ESS 3000 leverages the power of Spectrum Scale and flash memory technology to deliver the performance storage tier for AI. It provides performance and low latency to optimize all types of I/O patterns and data layouts, delivering data to applications and ensuring GPU resource utilization. The modular scalability delivers 24TB to 368.64TB of raw NVMe capacity with 2 controllers in a 2U platform. The new containerized deployment and upgrade process enables fast time to value and continuous operations.

RPQ 8S1750 needs to be approved before ordering IBM ESS 3000 systems. This RPQ provides additional assurance that the initial sale of an ESS 3000 will be installed successfully and deliver the desired customer experience. A successful client installation and overall experience is the highest priority.

This RPQ will only be required for a limited time.
