SC19: Qualstar Develops Prototype Enterprise Class Library Solution For Sony Optical Disc Archive Gen 3 Technology
From 4.7PB up to 50PB, scaling out to multi-library cluster configurations managing hundreds of petabytes of archive data

(Sony), which will be displayed at Sony’s booth during the SC19 conference and exhibition in Denver, CO.
The scalable enterprise class library solution leverages the company’s expertise and experience in designing robotic-based storage systems. Utilizing Sony’s Optical Disc Archive Generation 3 technology, a single library will scale from 4.7PB up to 50PB. (*) It can scale out to multi-library cluster configurations capable of managing hundreds of petabytes of archive data.
