From DataLocker, SafeCrypt Encrypted Virtual Drive for SafeConsole
Storage agnostic, cross-platform compatible, virtual drive that provides layer of military grade, AES 256-bit encryption
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on August 22, 2019 at 2:32 pmDataLocker Inc. announced SafeCrypt, with a new take on an existing encrypted storage solution.
It is a storage agnostic, cross-platform compatible, virtual drive that provides a layer of military grade, AES 256-bit encryption for data no matter where it’s stored.
The company is known for its suite of hardware encrypted storage devices, but today’s organizations store amounts of information locally, on the web, and on unsecure portable storage devices. In its continuous effort to provide their customers complete and diverse solutions for encrypting data at rest, the firm brings SafeCrypt.
Designed for organizations with security policies that don’t allow external storage devices, or users who store data in the cloud, it is a file encryption application that ensures sensitive data is secured and encrypted. By creating a virtual drive using SafeCrypt, files stored on the encrypted virtual drive are encrypted at the desktop level and stored on the user’s preferred storage location fully secured.
“SafeCrypt is an encrypted virtual drive where for the first time, users are in control of their own encryption. Encrypting your data is as easy as entering your password and reading and writing to the virtual drive letter,” said Jay Kim, CEO, DataLocker. “SafeCrypt is seamlessly integrated with DataLocker’s SafeConsole central management platform. SafeConsole allows administrators to inventory, audit, and control all SafeCrypt endpoints remotely.“
