TrilioVault Data Protection Platform With Support of Red Hat Hyperconverged Infrastructure

Trilio Data, Inc. announced the extension of its platform to support Red Hat, Inc.‘s hyperconverged infrastructure.

Now, customers of Red Hat Hyperconverged Infrastructure for Virtualization solution can enjoy native backup and recovery without ever leaving the Red Hat Hyperconverged Infrastructure for Virtualization interface.

This release extends the company’s cloud-native technology to unlock application-aware, point-in-time recovery for Red Hat Hyperconverged Infrastructure for Virtualization and Virtualization:

Incremental forever backup of single or multi-VM workloads, including metadata about applications, OS, VM network configuration, storage volumes, and more
One-click restore of complete workloads or selected VMs
Optimized management, including role-based access control and Ansible deployment

Red Hat Hyperconverged Infrastructure for Virtualization is an integrated solution designed for business-critical applications in virtualized environments, as well as for various tactical edge deployment scenarios. Built on Red Hat Virtualization, Red Hat Storage, and Red Hat Ansible Automation, Red Hat Hyperconverged Infrastructure for Virtualization is designed to simplify planning and procurement, streamline deployment and operations, and provide a single lifecycle experience for virtual compute and storage resources. Because Red Hat Hyperconverged Infrastructure for Virtualization is built from open source compute, storage, and management components, organizations can choose among validated configurations built on industry-standard hardware that best meet their workload needs.

TrilioVault‘s self-service approach also makes it for users to have full control over their infrastructure via native management interfaces. Through TrilioVault’s forever-incremental backups, users can recover any point-in-time with one click, including application blueprints, VMs, network configurations, security groups/policies, metadata, and storage data.
