This certification by the International Standards Organization means the WipeDrive solution has undergone testing and review and meets all data security requirements.
Common Criteria is an arrangement by 26 countries in Europe, Australasia, Asia and North America to ensure that evaluations of IT products and protection profiles are performed to consistent standards. Certified products can then be procured by member nations with confidence in the security of those products and profiles. This partnership eliminates the burden of duplicating evaluations of IT products.
The company provided WipeDrive Enterprise to a certified Common Criteria Testing Lab which tested the deletion solution against the data erasure security target. It met and exceeded all requirements. This certification demonstrates the firm’s commitment to ensuring the data sanitization tool is compliant with all government and military erasure protocols.
