With it, you can coordinate copy services on a variety of IBM Storage Systems, including DS8000, SAN Volume Controller (SVC), Storwize V7000, FlashSystem A9000/A9000R, and IBM XIV.
You can help prevent errors and increase system continuity using source and target volume matching, site awareness, DR testing, and standby management.
Copy Services Manager V6.2.5 offers following improvements over previous release:
- Allow user role session operator to only view sessions they have been authorized to manage
- Improvement for the CLI authentication with a Resource Access Control Facility (RACF)
- Dual control security support for safeguarded copies
- Copy Services Manager session overview panel displays more sessions
- New security administrator role
- FlashSystem A9000/A9000R HyperSwap support
- FlashSystem 9100 support
- Ability to free practice space after flash on Copy Services Manager practice sessions
