Lexar M.2 NM Series SSD With 6Gb SATA NM200, and NVMe NM500, NM520, NM600
From $130 (240GB) to $230 (480GB) for NM200, $60 (128GB) to $180 (512GB) for NM500, $70 (128GB) to $120 (256GB) for NM520, and $130 (240GB) to $230 (480GB) for NM600
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on January 16, 2019 at 2:22 pmLexar, owned by Shenzhen Longsys Electronics Co., Ltd., a Chinese company, announced the additions to its internal SSD portfolio with the release of its M.2 NM series; featuring a traditional 6Gb SATA SSD (NM200), plus more solutions with NVMe performance (NM500, NM520, NM600) for entry-level to PC enthusiasts.
The NM200 6Gb SATA is designed with the M.2 2280 form factor and is for mainstream users who want increased performance and reliability on their laptop or PC, with optimized speeds of up to 550MB/s read and 510MB/s write. A choice for users who still want to power through their day, it provides faster speed for boot ups, shut downs and every application in between.

As the demand for storage increases, so does the need for performance and speed to keep up with gaming and multimedia applications. Supported by PCIe Gen 3×2 NVMe 1.2 technology, the NM500 and NM520 allow users to experience entry-level NVMe performance built with 3D NAND. Designed in two different form factors – the M.2 2280 (NM500) and the M.2 2242 (NM520), these SSDs comes with speeds 2.5x faster than a SATA SSD, giving PC the ability to take on more and finish faster, with read speeds up to 1,650MB/s (*).

For the PC enthusiast who needs more for their video-intensive applications in 4K and 3D, the NM600 M.2 2280 PCIe Gen3x4 NVMe 1.3 SSD is designed to put you in the computing fast lane with speeds up 2,100MB/s read and 1,600MB/s write (1). It is supported by the PCIe Gen3x4 NVMe 1.3 technology standard and built with 3D NAND flash for higher capacity and efficiency. It also features LDPC error code correction technology which makes data transfers more reliable by fixing data errors before they have a chance to slow down.
