Stealthy Start-Up MemVerge Discovered

In software that will empower seamless convergence of main computer memory and storage using single pool of non-volatile RAM

We just discovered a start-up in stealth mode, MemVerge, Inc., born last year and based in Saratoga, CA.

The company has raised one seed round on September 18, 2017 but the amount was not revealed.

What we know is that it is working on a software allowing seamless convergence of main computer memory and main computer storage using a single pool of non-volatile RAM memory.

MemVerge is looking for engineers and product managers.

Main executives:

Shuki Bruck, chairman, was Gordon & Betty Moore professor at Caltech and co-founder of XtremIO (acquired by EMC for $340 million in 2012) and Rainfinity (also acquired by EMC in 2005 for $90 million).

Charles Fan, CEO, previously was SVP and GM of VMware storage business unit and co-founder of Rainfinity.

Yue Li, co-founder, was formerly post-doc at Caltech.
