SuperComputer: Storbyte Introduces Industrial Grade, Unlimited Write 32TB Eco•Flash SSD

And line of enterprise storage arrays

Storbyte will introduce its industrial grade, unlimited write 32TB ECO•FLASH flash drive and their full line of enterprise storage arrays at the SC18 (Super Computer 2018) show located in the Convention Center in downtown Dallas, TX, on November 13-15, 2018.

32TB Dual ported SSD
ECO•FLASH storage arrays provide density low power, performance features providing industry capabilities delivering on the demands of HPC applications, data analytics and large-scale digital libraries. This 32TB capacity doubles the capacity of the ECO•FLASH storage arrays providing industry defining levels of density, performance, and expandability.

IT professionals managing “HPC, data analytics and large-scale digital libraries strive to deploy systems that provide rack space efficiencies with reduced power at reduced costs,” said Steve Groenke, CEO, Storbyte. “The new 32TB ECO•FLASH drive is a key component that will provide the ability to respond to all of these requests. Providing 131TB raw capacity in 1U, 524TB raw capacity in 2U, and 1.57PB raw capacity in 4U, the ECO•FLASH systems meet all three of these key requirements.

ECO•Flash is ECO•Friendly
This 32TB eco-friendly thermal design consumes less than half the power and rejects half the heat of competing NVMe products, reducing total operating costs while directly contributing to substantially longer drive life. A key to the ECO•FLASH story is the ability to provide equal to better performance at between 300% to 500% lower cost per terabyte of any of the key competitive technologies. The purpose-built 32TB ECO•FLASH SSD, which includes a ten year warranty, represents a combination of established standards and innovation.

SC18 marks 30th anniversary
The company looks forward to Super Computing 18 and its long history of providing support to the HPC, oil and gas and data analytics processing community. The SC Conference Series has grown exponentially and anticipates the attendance of over 12,000 scientists, engineers, developers, system administrators, educators, students, program managers, CIOs, and policymakers.
