Panzura Freedom Cloud NAS Available in Google Cloud Platform Marketplace

Panzura, Inc. announced the its Freedom Cloud NAS on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) marketplace.

Freedom replaces traditional NAS with infinitely scalable and durable cloud attached storage (CAS) without sacrificing performance or re-writing applications running in the datacenter. With Freedom, customers can consolidate their unstructured data across data islands into a single source of truth in GCP, eliminating copy data sprawl, improving data security and reducing total costs by up to 70%.

The Panzura hybrid cloud data management platform is a complete solution to consolidate and manage the growth of unstructured NFS, SM and object data into the cloud without sacrificing data center performance or rewriting applications. The software-defined platform includes Freedom NAS and Mobile for primary data consolidation, real-time collaboration, cloud backup and anywhere, any device access. Freedom NAS is backed by Panzura CloudFS, a seventh generation, enterprise file system purpose built for the cloud. Freedom Mobile is an enterprise file synch and share (EFSS) application available on Android and IOS, and provides native integration to CloudFS using the same active directory policies. Freedom can be deployed on-premise, hybrid or in GCP marketplace.
