Wes Brewer CEO of Start-Up ProGrade Digital

And other co-founders and executives from Micron and Lexar

Last December, co-founder Wes Brewer become CEO of start-up ProGrade Digital, developing, manufacturing and marketing digital media and related workflow products and services to professional photographers, videographers and digital imaging enthusiasts. Formerly he was for 8 years VP and GM of Micron consumer products group and during 10 years VP, card and accessories division, SanDisk, now a Western Digital company. He is a storage veteran with a career in HDD being successively from 1978 senior application engineer at Shugart, senior product manager of Fujitsu America, senior product manager at Conner Peripharals and director of desktop and mobile products for Seagate.

In the same new company co-founder Mark Lewis is VP marketing after more than two years at Lexar as senior director of marketing. He was also from 2007 to 2012 director of marketing at Fujitsu Computer Products of America.

Other co-founder Michael George is VP engineering of ProGrade Digital, who as was director of engineering at Micron for over 10 years and founding member of Lexar Media (spun-out out of Cirrus Logic and acquired by Micron in 2006). He has also held senior engineering roles in Centillium Communication and Cisco Systems.

And finally co-founder Ed Chelini is VP operations of the new San Jose, CA-based firm, serving previously as senior director WW planning at Lexar Media and director of planning for SanDisk.
