NexStor Doubling Turnover in Last 12 Months
Thanks to HPE and Nimble endorsement in UK
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on October 4, 2017 at 2:28 pmData systems integrator NexStor Ltd announced that its turnover has more than doubled in the last 12 months, its team has expanded and it has been recognised as one of the top Nimble Storage and HPE partners in the UK.
NexStor’s team also sold the world’s first Arcserve UDP 8000 appliance and has enlarged its product portfolio with the addition of three cloud services.
NexStor, established in 2004 is based in Nottinghamshire, UK. The company’s financial success over the last 12 months has been driven by its expanding customer base. As a result of its expert advice and level of service an additional 60 new customers, including a global law firm, the UK’s largest charitable trust and one of the UK’s space companies, have joined company’s ranks. It’s commitment to its customers that has, in part, helped to secure the integrator’s position as an HPE Gold Partner – making the company one of just three UK Nimble channel partners to be awarded the status. NexStor’s storage and backup expertise, and its performance as a Nimble partner were also crucial factors.
As well as receiving vendor endorsement, NexStor’s team worked closely with the Gibraltar NHS to secure the world’s first Arcserve UDP 8000 appliance sale. By collaborating with the organisation’s IT team, NexStor has helped the Gibraltar NHS to transform its backup procedures: reducing its backup window, ensuring near real-time data is recoverable quickly and cutting the volume of data to be protected.
Committed to customer choice, NexStor has responded to demand by adding three managed cloud services to its offering:
- First is an online backup service to enable customers to backup data straight to cloud.
- Next, a managed backup service where NexStor manages data protection on behalf of the customer.
- And finally, a cloud-based DR service for customers to failover critical applications to VMs in the cloud. The firm tailors themanaged cloud services for each customer’s individual requirements and budget.
To keep up with increased business and to make sure that customer service remains a priority, the company has recruited three members of staff and has plans to double its headcount across the business over the next year. NexStor has recently moved into new premises to accommodate the larger team.
NexStor director Troy Platts said: “This year has been a great one for the team, it reflects all the hard work of each and every one of us. We’re committed to providing the very best advice to our customers, they can trust us to recommend the solutions that will improve their IT infrastructure and help things run more smoothly.”
Director Robert Townsend added: “Our vendors recognise our dedication too, we’re very proud of our Gold Storage Specialist status. It’s a measure of our professionalism and our determination to get the right solution for each of our customers.”
