Isreali company attracting VCs, HQs opened in West Palm Beach, FL
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on May 15, 2017 at 2:38 pmAs an indication of the growing importance of hybrid architecture, N2W Software, Inc., provider of cloud-native data protection and DR for Amazon Web Services, closed a round of funding.
The major capital investment, led by leading global private equity and venture capital firm Insight Venture Partners, will be used to enhance product offerings in order to help companies striving to secure, manage, and protect critical data and infrastructure hosted with AWS and other public cloud providers.
To support this, the start-up will also be using the financing to expand its development center in Haifa, Israel, and open a new HQs in the United States based in West Palm Beach, FL.
Board and Leadership Changes
The firm has also announced that it is welcoming Ratmir Timashev, president of Veeam Management LLC and founder/former-CEO at Veeam Software, to its board of directors. He is a regarded figure in the backup and DR industry. His presence will be an asset in helping guide N2W through the next stage of its development.
Jason Judge and Andy Langsam have also joined the company as CEO and COO, respectively. The pair bring a track record of building enterprise software companies.
Jason Judge, CEO, was previously CEO of 5Nine Software, Veriato, and ScriptLogic.
Andy Langsam, COO, was part of the LOGICnow team that was recently acquired by SolarWinds and part of the ScriptLogic team that was acquired by Quest Software.
