SherWeb Integrating Acronis Cloud Backup Capabilities

Acronis International GmbH and SherWeb, Inc. announced their recent agreement to integrate Acronis Backup Cloud into the SherWeb family of cloud-based hosting solutions.

Under the agreement, SherWeb will receive access to a hybrid cloud backup technology, opening new revenue opportunities to partners and meeting the data protection need of their customers.

Selecting Acronis Backup Cloud as a Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform is part of a SherWeb’s initiative to refresh its overall service offerings as the company stays true to its commitment to making the latest technology available to its partners and service providers.

SherWeb will provide technical support, training, and management tools, making it easy and fast to resell and enabling service providers to increase customer retention and generate new income.

Acronis Backup Cloud is a data protection solution specifically developed for service providers, hosters and cloud resellers, providing multi-tenant and multi-tier management capabilities and protection of all customers’ data, including computers, mobile devices, Microsoft Office 365 accounts, websites, and applications – physical and virtual, local and cloud.

According to the Hosting and Cloud Study 2017 conducted by 451 Research LLC and released by Microsoft last month, backup and recovery services hold the top position among the managed services used by organizations last year. SherWeb’s partners and service providers are in a prime position to protect their customers’ data and build their business with SherWeb’s support and Acronis’ technology.
