Ray Villeneuve President and COO, Virtual Instruments
Storage veteran working at Riverbed, MonoSphere, NetApp, Auspex

He is a seasoned enterprise IT executive and is charged with driving corporate strategy and expanding the company’s market opportunity worldwide.
With more than 30 years of experience, he has a strong track record of turning IT infrastructure companies into market leaders. He is respected for his global expansion success, and his ability to raise venture capital and drive shareholder value. He was previously the CEO of Skytree, an enterprise machine learning company. Prior to that, he was VP of corporate development and GM of the cloud storage acceleration business for Riverbed Technology, which was acquired by NetApp. Previously he was CEO of MonoSphere, a predictive analytics software company focused on IT infrastructure, which was acquired by Dell (Quest). He has also held senior executive positions at storage industry innovators NetApp and Auspex Systems. He earned an MBA from the Fox Business School at Temple University and a BSME from the University of Michigan.
