Micron President Mark Adams to Resign
For personal health reasons

He will remain with the company until February 1, 2016, to support the transition.
He joined Micron in June 2006 and has served as president since February 2012.
Previously, he served as COO at Lexar Media, Inc., from January through June 2006, when the company was acquired by Micron. He was responsible for worldwide sales, new product development and strategic business planning. Prior to Lexar, he served as VP of sales and marketing at Creative Labs from 2003 to 2006 where he managed U.S. retail sales, global brand management, new product development and strategic alliances. Additionally, he was president and CEO of Coresma, Inc.
Adams serves on the board of directors for the Micron Foundation, Cadence Design Systems, Inc., and the Global Semiconductor Alliance. He also serves on the board of Whistle Sports.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Boston College and a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School.
