365 Data Centers Launches Local Enterprise Cloud Storage Services

365 Data Centers, a US colocation provider, announced the availability of its new 365 cloud storage service, a local enterprise storage-as-service (STaaS) across 17 US markets.

365 cloud storage delivers enterprise security and controls, self-service provisioning, security and pay-for-use pricing. It is suitable for applications such as clustered databases, big data analytics, file storage, archiving, storage migration, backup, remote DR and temporary workloads.

Combining dedicated colocation services with the benefits of the cloud, 365 cloud storage reduces the TCO for managing and maintaining storage infrastructure and is one of many solutions the company is developing to position itself as a hybrid cloud and data center services provider in North America. It supports both SAN for block-based storage and NAS for file sharing and can be accessed securely via a data-center cross connect within 365’s facilities or via carrier Ethernet or metro fiber.

365 cloud storage provides enterprise features at affordable price:

Combining colocation and cloud services to deliver a local cloud reduces the latency, or round trip delay, by reducing the distance between a customer’s application and storage. Within a metro area over fiber, customers can expect a latency of less than four milliseconds. Within the data center, latency is less than one millisecond.
