Altiscale Debuts Hadoop-as-a-Service

Altiscale, Inc. announced the availability of the Altiscale Data Cloud, a cloud service purpose-built to run Apache Hadoop.

The company and its team of Hadoop pioneers have leveraged their expertise to create a Hadoop as a Service (HaaS) offering that frees customers from the burdens of deploying, managing, or scaling Apache Hadoop.
