NTT East Selects Cloudian

Cloudian, Inc. announced that Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation (NTT East) has selected the Cloudian as its on-premise cloud storage platform for its consumer cloud service ‘Flet’s Azukeru’.

NTT East provides Flet’s Hikari (meaning ‘Light’), which is a Japan’s  fiber optic broadband service. Flet’s Azukeru is a storage service for Flet’s Hikari subscribers, allowing users to view and share data such as images and videos. Users get between 5GB to 10GB of free storage, depending on their specific service plan. Users can access the service from multiple devices, including PCs, smart phones, and tablets.

Cloudian’s S3 cloud storage platform has a track record in large scale commercial deployments worldwide. It is particularly suitable for enterprise IT’s needs for on-premise private and hybrid cloud storage. Cloudian allows S3 applications to work inside enterprise firewalls, with integration with CloudStack and OpenStack compute and management systems.
