Hookano brings more than 20 years of sales experience in the high tech industry to Exablox and will be responsible for worldwide sales and channel strategy. His appointment strengthens the company’s executive leadership as it scales to support continued growth behind its recent OneBlox and OneSystem product release.
Prior to joining Exablox, he was the VP of channel sales at Fusion-io where he helped drive the revenue growth that led to a multi-billion dollar IPO. Prior to thathe spent nearly six years at Barracuda Networks as VP of sales, North America, growing the company from inception to over $100 million in revenue. Earlier in his career he held executive sales positions in start-ups that were acquired by Symantec (Clyde Digital/Raxco), Intel (Dayna Communications) and SonicWALL (Phobos Corporation). During his career, he has grown sales teams from nothing to more than $200 million in revenue, developed channel programs and was named one of the Top 100 Channel Sales Executives by CRN magazine in 2006.
He received his bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Utah.
