Former CEO and founder Kieran Harty becoming CTO

He has been on the Tintri board of directors since August 2011 and joins Tintri as the company completes its largest quarter to date.
Former CEO and founder, Kieran Harty assumes the new role of CTO and will drive Tintri’s product strategy and roadmap.
Known for evolving start-ups into global industry leaders, Klein is a technology industry veteran with over 20 years of experience. He most recently was president of Wind River Systems, where he was responsible for the management of more than 1,800 employees in over 20 countries. During his tenure, he doubled the revenue at Wind River and the company was acquired by Intel for nearly $1 billion. Prior to Wind River, he served as COO and board member of Mercury Interactive for 12 years. His team built Mercury from a pre-revenue start-up into a software powerhouse with revenues approaching $1 billion before being acquired by Hewlett-Packard for $5 billion.

Tintri has seen strong enterprise customer adoption of its Zero Management Storage solutions over the past two years, including accounts such as AMD, F5 and Kawasaki. Through the first three quarters of 2013, it experienced 120% growth over the same period last year, and in the most recent quarter added more new customers than in any prior quarter. With new products recenty announced, the company is in a position for future growth.
