For 92 years, the Chamber has played an important role in the history of
Hollywood – everything from revitalizing the community to saving the Hollywood
sign to managing the Hollywood Walk of
Fame
.

"We were using tape backup which was
archaic and unreliable,"
says Kaylee Kiecker, VP marketing and
business development, Hollywood Chamber. "KeepItSafe enables us to manage our business documents in ways that are
more customer-focused and better for our members. Nothing falls through the
cracks and it’s much more transparent.
"

Representing the interests of nearly 900 small firms in Los Angeles, CA as well as
acting as an advocate for the business community on wide ranging issues, the
Hollywood Chamber of Commerce also owns the licensing rights to the famous Hollywood sign and the Hollywood Walk of Fame, entities that
generate hundreds of pages of documents that are now backed up by KeepItSafe.

"These are historical documents that
are more safe and secure than they’ve ever been,
" said Kiecker.

Commenting on the partnership with KeepItSafe, Leron Gubler, president and CEO, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, said: "We are contracting with a reliable and affordable data protection
service that easily eliminates the concern of backing up our data on a regular
basis. KeepItSafe has offered us a hands-on approach to protecting our vital
information and their outstanding level of customer service gave us the
confidence to move away from backup tapes.
"

According to Kiecker, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce plans to move more
business services to the cloud and is currently evaluating two other j2 Global
services: eVoice, a virtual phone service; and eFax, an online fax service.

"We love the idea of a one-stop shop
that introduces us to new technologies that are relevant to the business
challenges we face that we can then recommend to our members,
" said
Kiecker.

"All businesses, regardless of size,
need to protect their critical data,
" said Hemi Zucker, CEO, j2
Global. "We’re thrilled to be
working with the Hollywood Chamber.
