This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on August 27, 2013 at 2:56 pmMach Xtreme Technology Inc. unveiled EXPRESS Series PCIe SSD add-on card.
The MX-EXPRESS is implementing dual-controller technology and is based on a driver-less design.
The low-profile MX-EXPRESS PCIe 2.0 x2 SSD card delivers a desktop computing experience with faster application loading times, fast data access and shorter boot-ups of today’s and future high-end desktops featuring PCIe 2x / 4x /16x interface.
"The MX-EXPERSS continues our tradition of catering to power users who want the fastest and smoothest performance. It meets extreme data transfer needs, utilizing a PCIe 2.0 bandwidth. This add-on card is fully compliant with AHCI standard and thus is truly plug and play solution where no drivers are needed," said Tomasz Swatowski, global marketing manager, MX Technology.
In addition, this series maintains high level of read and write performance though the life of the SSD.
The MX-EXPRESS drive delivers read and write speeds clocking in at up to 850MB/s read and 800MB/s write along with the maximum of 100,000 IO/s and durability (2.5 million MTBF) compared to mainstream 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s generation drives.
Available in capacities of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB, these cards come backed with two-year warranty and after-sales service.
