With its compact 10-layers PCB stack, SASJBCB6x is able to be accommodated into any PCIe slot of a standard 2U rack chassis without having to adding an extra riser card. The PCIe form factor facilitates the integration issues and saves extra power source requirement of the board.

The SASJBCB6x series will be shipped with two models from early December this year. SASJBCB64 will support dual miniSAS4i host channels of 8 ports and 24 drives by six miniSAS 4i connectors. A miniSAS4x expansion channel can be used to cascade to JBOD enclosures for more drive requirement. Configurable to use the board in 20 drives mode support dual hosts and dual expansion able to delivering full 8x 6Gbps throughput.

Designed with LSI Corp.‘s expander, it provides compatibility with most popular RAID or HBA cards as well as HDDs or SSDs.

All of BIOSAP SAS Expander boards support standard SGPIO for backplane LED controls as well as SCSI Enclosure Service (SES) for HBA status monitoring.

Features like fan connectors with speed control and fault detection, buzzer, and fault LEDs are included.
