inPuncto biz²Archiver for Google Docs

The inPuncto GmbH, software specialist for SAP Content-/Document-Management in Esslingen/Germany announced a new product biz²Archiver for Google Docs offering the opportunity to file/archive SAP data and documents in a special safety business storage area inside of the Google Archive.

Google has become the physical storage system for SAP indeed. Naturally, company and customer data are absolutely saved in a purpose-engineered customer/company own domains.

As a certified partner of SAP, inPuncto GmbH carries out the complete communication between SAP and Google. The inPuncto solution includes the standardised SAP interface (Http-CS Interface) for the data output, and the innovative Google API for the data input.

The key benefit is that biz²Archiver for Google Docs replaces company-local archiving systems – it means that backup for business (productive) data, as well as costs of storage media support and storage media administration are cut off. An optimized data transfer and lean network bandwidth are further results of implementing the solution, in addition to the gains in the productive efficiency.

The product of inPuncto is now available for Ramp-Up customers. The solution is expected to be noticeable lower priced in comparison with hardware investments for the conventional archiving solutions.
