AEWIN Technologies Co., Ltd. released an 1U network appliance based on Intel 915GME/910GMLE processor with 8GbE, SATA, CF, and PCI.

The SCB-7969 is a 1U rack-mounted network security hardware platform designed for high performance IDS/IPS, firewall, VPN gateway, load balancing and UTM. Built with Intel Embedded IA components with warranty of longevity, the SCB-7969 supports Intel Pentium M/ Celeron M ULV processor expandable computing power from 600MHz to 2.0 GHz of CPU core speed with Intel 915GME/910GMLE chipset and ICH6-M I/O controller. The platform supports high bandwidth DDRII SODIMM slots with memory up to 2GB. In order to provide the best network performance and best utilization, the powerful storage interfaces include one 3.5" SATA HDD and CompactFlash.

This platform affords four GbE Copper or eight GbE Copper max to 12 GbE ports via PCI-E by 1 or by 4 on front-panel. To prevent network problems when the platform shuts down, SCB-7969 supports one pair of LAN bypass function through WDT and GPIO pin definitions. The front panel also has one RJ-45 console port and LED indicators that monitor power and HDD activitiesfor local system management, maintenance and diagnostics. In addition, the SCB-7969 supports one PCI-E x 4 slot, one PCI-E x 8 golden finger via optional riser card, one PCI expansion slot. IT is RoHS and FCC & CE compliant.
