Tony Carrozza, New Senior VP of WW Sales and Marketing at Rackable

He came from Iomega, Quantum and then Neterion.

Rackable Systems, Inc. announced the
addition of Tony Carrozza to its management team as Senior Vice
President of Sales and Marketing. Carrozza brings more than 30 years of
high technology sales and management experience to Rackable Systems,
where he will be responsible for worldwide sales and marketing efforts
for the company’s broad line of products and
services. Prior to joining Rackable Systems, Carrozza held senior sales
positions at organizations including Neterion, Inc. and Quantum
Corporation.

Carrozza joins Rackable Systems from Neterion, Inc., where he served as
Vice President of Sales. At Neterion, Carrozza was responsible for sales
to major server and storage OEMs, channel partners and end users. Before
joining Neterion, he was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales for
Quantum Corporation. In this role he was responsible for a 200 person
sales and support organization that produced over $800 million in
revenue. At Quantum, he spent over 19 years in a variety of sales and
management positions including Vice President Worldwide Sales for the
DLTape Group; Vice President of Worldwide Sales Strategy and Business
Planning; and Director of Central Region Sales.

During his tenure at Quantum, Carrozza was credited with numerous
Fortune 500 wins including key deals in the financial services, oil and
gas and manufacturing sectors. Prior to joining Quantum in 1987, he
spent four years at Iomega Corporation in channel and OEM sales
management roles as the company grew from initial revenue to over $100
million.

Carrozza received a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in political science from
Iona College. As the new Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing,
Carrozza will report directly to CEO Mark Barrenechea.
