Comments
The start-up was created in 2000 by former employees of Creative Designs Solutions who designed a NAS later sold to Maxtor in 1999. It raised a total of at least $12.5 million but was not really successful with its flagship product, auto-stor, for consolidation, disaster recovery optimization, data retention management, online archiving, and capacity management of a tiered-storage infrastructure, even if it has prestigious partners: CA (as OEM), EMC, FAST, HDS, HP, IBM, NetApp, Nexsan and Symantec.
