Spectra Logic Granted Motion

Spectra Logic Corporation announced that the San Diego Court has ruled favorably on its Motion to Stay Overland Storage, Inc.‘s lawsuit proceedings regarding alleged patent infringement pending the outcome of similar proceedings currently in process with the International Trade Commission .  

Overland’s asserted patent claims are invalid and not infringed.

Spectra Logic’s response to the lawsuit includes relatively unique defenses that Overland’s request for damages is completely extinguished due to Overland’s unusually long delay and misleading conduct in connection with the lawsuit.
