Fujitsu Eternus DA-700 Archiving System for Japanese Market

Fujitsu Ltd. will launch in late August on Japanese market a electronic archiving system, the Eternus DA-700.

This system is based on Blu-ray optical disc or Archive Disc from Panasonic Corp. with which Fujitsu has an OEM agreement. This is the Data Archiver Panasonic already markets in some countries.

The DA-700 is offered in different configurations varying depending on the storage capacity of the NAS part based on HDDs and the number of libraries for removable cartridges each containing  twelve Blu-ray disc WORM multi-layer media (BD-R XL).

The AD-700 will be available on the Japanese market on 31 August, 2016.

Its price starts at ¥1,775,000.
