R1Soft From Idera Acquired by Continuum

Continuum Managed Services LLC, a channel-exclusive provider of integrated managed IT services solutions, has acquired R1Soft, creator of the R1Soft Server Backup Manager (SBM) product line, from Idera, Inc., a provider of application and server management solutions.

A commercial backup software for web hosting providers, SBM has been deployed by more than 2,500 cloud infrastructure providers and protects more than 300,000 servers worldwide.

Many Continuum partners have inquired about cloud-based backup solutions. The company is working to offer various options for its partners and their clients. R1Soft is known for having a fast, scalable, yet affordable server backup software for both Windows and Linux platforms in private and public clouds.
