Former United States SEC attorney Willie Briscoe and the securities litigation firm of Powers Taylor, PLLC are investigating potential claims against the board of directors of Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. concerning the acquisition by Broadcom Limited.

Under the terms of the agreement, valued at approximately $5.9 billion, Brocade shareholders will only receive $12.75 per Brocade share owned. The consideration is lower than at least one analyst’s estimated value of $13.00.
