"The ZClone takes our duplication product line to the next
level," commented Farid Emrani, executive VP and COO of
Logicube. "This long-awaited next generation solution has
been developed specifically for volume hard drive cloning in
production environments where high-speed, versatility and durability
is a key requirement. Our hard drive duplicators, such as the popular
OmniClone series, have helped position Logicube as the leader in the
hard drive cloning market. We expect ZClone to strengthen our
dominance in this sector in the years to come," stated
Emrani.
It provides cloning speeds at 15GB/min, and features built-in support for SATA and SAS as well as USB drive interfaces, with optional adapters to support other drive interfaces including IDE, ZIF, mSATA, microSATA, eSATA and flash media. The multi-target ZClone can duplicate up to 10 SATA, 8 SAS, 8 IDE or 6 USB targets from an internal image storage drive and users can assign any bay as a source/master drive. Network sharing allows network access (upload/download) to drive images and log files.
ZClone provides the capability to clone, wipe and HDDs concurrently. The solution features remote operation, allowing to control operations from a remote computer.
"We have named this product the 'ZClone' because we consider it a three-dimensional duplicator: cloning drive to drive (X); image to drive (Y), and network to drive (Z). This flexibility delivers a powerful solution that addresses the complexities of imaging tasks in today's IT departments," commented Emrani.
ZClone provides IT professionals the ability to accelerate HDD imaging tasks such as PC deployments, O/S upgrades and content/application distribution. Logicube has began shipping ZClone the week of August 6th.
