The center will enable closer collaboration between Hitachi Data Systems and
SAP to develop and certify new HDS solutions for SAP solution-based
environments.
The 300m² center contains a laboratory and board rooms to showcase HDS technologies with the SAP HANA platform, which enable organizations to make better business decisions quickly and gain advanced business insight with intuitive access to data. The center will allow the two companies to host mutual customer and partner meetings and to collaborate on development of new technologies in areas such as cloud and real-time mobile solutions.
"Since becoming an SAP global technology partner, our relationship with SAP has become extremely important to us as we share the same aspirations in designing future technologies," said Matthias Czwikla, VP, global SAP field alliance, HDSs. "The competency center will enable us to work more closely with SAP to both enhance existing technology and develop new solutions for our customers."
"The opening of the new HDS Global Competency Center will provide added opportunities for cooperation between SAP and HDS," said Horst-Udo Schulte, VP, global technology partners, SAP. "It demonstrates the significance of our partnership and drive to meet customer needs. The center will help our joint customers envision new ways of running their businesses with innovative technologies, including SAP HANA."
