For dealing with Syria
NetApp has come under investigation by U.S. regulators after it was revealed that a multi-million dollar storage system from the company underpins a sweeping Internet-surveillance system that was being built last year for the Syrian regime of President Bashar al-Assad.
The Company may be subject to various penalties for violating U.S. export control laws. This investigation concerns whether the Board of Directors of NetApp breached their fiduciary duties.
