Infinite Convergence Solutions: Personal Messaging Cloud Message Storage Application
For mobile operator
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on March 4, 2014 at 3:03 pmAt Mobile World Congress, Infinite Convergence Solution, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Infinite Computer Solutions in wireless messaging and mobility solutions for carriers and enterprises, announces its Personal Messaging Cloud Message Storage Application (PMC MSA).
PMC MSA provides message synchronization and storage services for mobile operators globally. It was built leveraging the experience and technology previously deployed for a tier-1 carrier in North America.
With PMC MSA, mobile operators can offer subscribers a carrier-grade, unified messaging experience across platforms and devices, including tablets, laptops and mobile phones, and OSs, such as Android, iOS and Windows. Its multi-device synchronization enables subscribers to start a conversation on one device and seamlessly move to another. Based on a single mobile number that connects every device, a subscriber’s complete message history – all messages sent or received by the subscriber – is stored in a cloud-based server and synched in real-time to each device.
“The rise of BYOD in the workplace and subscribers owning multiple devices has created a need for communication continuity,” said Anurag Lal, CEO, Infinite Convergence. “Our PMC MSA provides mobile operators with a network-based multi-device synchronization solution that stores subscribers’ rich communication-based messages in a central, secure location.“
In conjunction with Infinite Convergence’s GSMA-accredited Rich Communication Suite Application Server, PMC MSA adheres to RCS standards, making it secure and scalable to enable long-term RCS message storage for millions of subscribers. Customizable cloud storage options also give operators the opportunity to price services based on storage time or folder size. With the ability to store one-to-one or group chats and multimedia messages, including pictures, audio and video, the storage service can hold messages for days, months or years depending on subscribers’ needs.
“RCS is experiencing renewed momentum with mobile operators such as Sprint and Vodafone using it as the foundation for their recently-launched enhanced mobile messaging services,” said Pamela Clark-Dickson, senior analyst, Informa Telecoms & Media. “It is becoming vital that operators offer their subscribers new revenue-generating and loyalty-inducing messaging-based services, and RCS-based storage and multi-device access to messaging are emerging as viable contenders.“
Infinite Convergence’s messaging solutions are currently deployed with tier-1 and tier-2 mobile operators.
